Cabaret Ghita

Cabaret Ghita  Born 6/10/09

Sired by the 2009 NW Senior and Grand Champion Cabaret Straat-Kat (87.8) X Cabaret Diana I (81.9)

Straat-Kat is well known for his bone, head and muscling and has sired many of the best: Cabaret Pavarotti (93.3), Cabaret Kwaadkat (90.2), Cabaret Nenna (88.9), Cabaret Elna (88.5), Cabaret Tessa (87.5), Cabaret Zulu (87.3), Cabaret Wies Dar (87.3), and Marijoh Franco (86.1).

Please stay with us as she grows into something we hope will be outstanding. At 3 months she was fearless, very outgoing and listened very well. At 4 months she added just plain WILD to her personality. You can already see her sire Straat-Kat in her conformation.

At 8 months she weighed in at a lean 103 lbs. She is settling down. Loves to go for walks and she is very people friendly. She has a gigantic well shaped head. Her bone structure and muscling are also impressive.

Her temperament is so very pleasant. She is submissive and playful. We are so happy to be able to have her and watch her grow up.

She loves being with Xena and are 9 year old boxer Boochie.

Gretchen Neffe

Gretchen Neffe  (Sabt 83.4) Born 9/9/08  26.5 in. 125lbs.  Penn-Hip L .45  R .46
Entropian and Ectropian Free, Vaginal Hyperplasia Free

Neffe is out of the well known Gretchen Angus (87.4) X Gretchen Jessie II (85.9)

Neffe is a large female with lots of size yet balanced.  She is very muscular and also extremely agile for a large female. We were impressed with her shoulders, neck and muscularity, large bone structure and also her angulation, which is correct and add to that a nice big head.

Her greatest asset might be her temperament, she is very easy to handle. While we were building kennels for her and Zulu, she ran around and made friends with all the guys that worked on them.
Being scored very young, she has a lot of growing to do on her way to finishing out. We are sure she will improve greatly in the next year.

Neffe is energetic and loves to play, friendly, submissive as well as not being dog dominant. Making her that much more enjoyable.
She runs and plays with our other dogs and we look forward to carefully pairing her with only the most worthy males.

It is very rare to find a true Gretchen female in the U.S. We will not take that for granted.

Angus has fathered some outstanding dogs; Gretchen Bito (89.5), Gretchen Michelle (87.0), Gretchen Jennie I (88.4), Bunda Lodge Buffels (89.7) our Neffe is right up there with her siblings.

She like the rest of our dogs has a lot of high scoring boerboels in her pedigree; Gretchen Angus (87.4), Gretchen Jessie II (85.9), Gretchen Bento (88.2), Marvell Zena (90.7), Linjo Nikki (93.3), Esfa Sakkie (88.8), Vanderbijl Toska (91.1), Linjo Gunter (89.3), Avontuur Alfons (94.0), Gretchen Ghita (87.2).

Nostras Zulu

Nostras Zulu   (Sabt 92.6 Stud Register)   Hips 0/0   Elbows 0/0  27 in.  165 lbs.

He is out of Zantah Boston (89.7)  X  Nostras Beaulah (88.0) a powerful combination yet to be repeated.

His brothers; Nostras Tyson (93.1), Nostras Filemon (89.3), and Nostras Beauton (89.2) as well as his sisters; Nostras Lisha (92.5), Nostras Nadia (88.8), and Nostras Marlah (81.3) have made great contributions in the boerboel world.

He is one of the top boerboels in the world. A Champion many times over and here are some of his credentials:

1. World Top 50: 2004 8th, 2006 3rd, 2007 2nd
2. Senior Champion Gauteng 2007 and 2009 --- Reserve Grand Champion Gauteng 2009
3. 2009 National Championships 4th
4. 2008 World Championships 3rd
5. 2007 Gauteng Senior 24months and older 1st
6. 2007 Senior Champion Gauteng
7. 2007 Grand Champion Gauteng
The list could go on and on but you get the point.

He is a very special Boerboel with some of the most powerful genetics in the Boerboel world, maybe the last of the old school Boerboels.
Electric Boerboels and Great Lakes Boerboels have purchased Zulu from Piet-Zyn-Drift.
We are very excited and grateful to have the opportunity to acquire him.

This gentle giant is outstanding in every respect. He is calm and self-assured. Zulu is very people friendly, not dominant at all. His progeny are some of the best and and most correct boerboels in the world.

He has a gigantic Boerboel head as well as still being well muscled (he is as hard as a rock) and light on his feet. He is just as wide in the front as he is in the back.

He is very easy to work with and his confidence and stable temperament are something special. We have only had him a short time but he continues to impress. I have yet to hear him bark, and he loves staying with the females. He came from summer in Africa to winter in the mid-west so it is taking him a little time to adjust but he is doing well.

We are going to be very particular in using this great Champion to better the breed. Zulu is truly something special.

He has fathered outstanding progeny such as; Piet-Zyn-Drift Ulli (92.3), Piet-Zyn-Drift Habana (91.4), Piet-Zyn-Drift Fortune (89.7), Piet-Zyn-Drift Tessa II (89.0), Piet-Zyn-Drift Tau (88.9). More than 40 of his progeny have scored at 80.0 or better. That is an incredible feat.

Spitsvuur Motto

Spitsvuur Motto  (Rico)  (Sabt 91.0 at 14 months)  Born 8/20/08  26. in. 155 lbs.
Entropian and Ectropian Clear

He is out of 2008 S.A Reserve Champion Bullet Otto Fouchee (90.2 Stud Register Hips 0-0) x Spitsvuur Merle (87.0 Hips 1-2)

Spitsvuur Motto was the Top Scoring Boerboel Of The Day at the Columbus, Ohio appraisal

Motto is very thick with tremendous volume, excellent head, chest, muscling, top line, and bone structure, he also has very wide powerful hind quarters. He is built like a bulldozer, yet his movement is fluid and he is very agile.

On the 2009 U.S. Appraisal Tour we visited, we noticed many males tall and thin with small hind quarters. His thickness is exactly what many South African Boerboels today are lacking. He is very calm, self-assured, easy to work with and not dominant at all.

At 12 Months he was 140lbs (his father weighed around 205 lbs) and he still has alot of growing to do. We took him camping and he was a great ambassador, making friends with everyone he met.

He is completely impressive from every angle. Fearless, yet, not aggressive, he even gets along with everyone at the dog park. If you are after thickness, muscle and Boerboel bone look no further.

While we have learned not to get to hung up on appraisal scores, he has some big names in his pedigree; Bullet Otto Fouchee (90.2), Spitsvuur Merle (87), Gretchen Bito (89.5), Avontuur Anton (92.4), Spitsvuur Mango (85.3), Spitsvuur Mollie (87.1) along with Gretchen Angus (87.4) and Cabaret Klein Buks (87).

Spitsvuur Olla

Spitsvuur Olla (Ruby) (Sabt 85.3 at 12 months) Born 6/20/08  25 in. 120 lbs.
Entropian and Ectropian Clear and Vaginal Hyperplasia Free

The mating of the late Maranata Brollocks (90.9 Stud Register 0-0 Hips) X Ossewa Dina (85.9 Stud Register 0-0 Hips and Elbows) resulted in a remarkable female Spitsvuur Olla. She is large, but very correct. Her whole body, from topline, rear end, legs, and chest, and bone structure is well put together.  She has excellent rear angulation, something lacking in many Boerboels today. She is getting more and more muscular as she matures.

With a father as muscular and well built as Brollocks (90.9) and a mother as wide as Dina (85.9), we are expecting giant things to come down the line. She came through her first heat with no signs of hyperplasia.

Her movement, as could be expected from such a well made animal, is easy and fluent. She is lively and has the perfect temperament, not people or dog dominant at all. If we are outside she is right with us at all times curious and nosey. She is very playful and loves people.  She is a joy to have around. On top of all this, she is a great mother producing very healthy pups.

Her pedigree explains the good conformation at such a young age. Maranata Brollocks (90.9), Ossewa Dina (85.9), Linjo Gunther (89.3), Avontuur Alfons (94), Esfa Sakkie (88.8), Rhode Demois (87.9), Maranata Oula (86.6), Dopper Hitler (87.8) and even Roenard Martiens (89.9)

Spitsvuur Xena

Spitsvuur Xena  (Tuffy)  (Sabt 85.6)  Born 1/7/08  24 in.  110 lbs.   Penn-Hip L .61 R .60
Entropian and Ectropian Clear. Vaginal Hyperplasia Free.

Daughter of 2007 S. A. Senior and National Grand Champion Cabaret Pavarotti (93.3 Stud Register Hips 1-1) X Spitsvuur Keila (87.9)

Tuffy is beautiful and very correct, looking at her clearly brings to mind her sire Cabaret Pavarotti (93.3), Spitsvuur Mandaat (85.1) and Cabaret Straat-Kat (87.8). She has excellent muscling, straight topline, and outstanding rear angulation. Her head, neck and back come together perfectly. With all this, a nice head, solid bone structure and her mother's dark coloring, she is a wonderful example of Boerboel strength, balanced with femininity!

She was the first South African Boerboel we bought from Spitsvuur as a pup and we took her everywhere. She goes on vacation with us, loves the water and sleeps next to our bed.

Tuffy is very intelligent and can read my mind and having a high drive and awesome guarding instincts, she is very protective.  We are expecting beautiful things out of her in the near future! She has been a slow developer, but she is up to about 110lbs.

Her brother is 2009 East Cape Junior Champion Spitsvuur Kwota (87.5) owned by Egoli Boerboels.

Xena
also comes with a pedigree jam packed full of big names and high scores that set the standard: Caberet Pavarotti (93.3) Spitsvuur Keila (87.9), Cabaret Straat-Kat (87.8), Spitsvuur Mandaat (85.1), Spitsvuur Mollie (87.1), Cabaret Klein Buks (87), Maestro Cheeky (87.9), S.S. Kim (89.8), Waaksam Mitzie (88.9), and Cabaret Simba (86.1).
